The American Music Awards 2018 = woman power! Between nominations, winners and performances, the women of Hollywood reigned over the night.

  • Taylor Swift makes history! She is now the most decorated AMA winner, beating Whitney Houston, with 23 total. She opened the show with the song "I Did Something Bad" from "Reputation."
  • Cardi B beat out the male competition with Favorite Rap & Hip Hop artist, stating that her daughter gave her the motivation to "prove people wrong."
  • Camila Cabello ​also raked in a couple awards, including "Best New Artist of the Year" and "Best new Pop/Rock Song" with "Havana."
  • Jennifer Lopez delivered an electric performance of "Limitless," written by Sia.
  • Gladys Night offered a heartfelt and emotional tribute to the late Aretha Franklin, honoring the Queen of Soul's lasting legacy.
  • Mariah Carey ​reminded us that her music career is still kicking, with a performance of her new song "With You."
