Spotted - A new Upper East Side crew is bringing all new drama!

According to E! News, there is just a 10-episode order right now. The show will follow a new group of Manhattan's elite rich kids. The new series will include the original series creators, and executive producers and writers.

The series begins eight years after the original Gossip Girl was revealed. A entirely new generation of private school teens are new to Gossip Girl's game.

The series will apparently "address just how much social media — and the landscape of New York itself — has changed in the intervening years."

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like the original cast is involved in this reboot.

In an interview earlier this year, Leighton Meester said, "no one's every asked me, no one's every talked to me about it except for in interviews and I always say the same: I never say never, so I don't know. No one's sent me that information, it's coming from you."

HBO Max will be the home of a Gossip Girl reboot. The new streaming platform is set to launch in the spring on 2020 and is also the platform that is taking Friends back from Netflix.
