It has been a few months since Lori Loughlin ran into some legal trouble regarding the college admissions scandal, where she has pleaded not guilty.

It's pretty clear that Loughlin's longitime friend and costar John Stamos is still processing it all.

He says he is close with Lori and talked to her the morning the news broke and admits it all doesn't make sense to him.

Stamos told GQ that he wants to be careful and wait to talk about until we know the results of the case.

“I gotta be careful. I want to wait until the trial happens, if it does, or whatever the result is, and then talk about it,” he told the magazine. “I’ll tell you one thing that has been strange is: Honestly, I can’t figure it out. It doesn’t make sense. I talked to her the morning everything hit. I just can’t process it still.”

Stamos added, “Whatever happened, I’m pretty sure that the punishment is not equal to the crime, if there was a crime.”
