Lori Loughlin's Daughter Olivia Jade Is "Barely Speaking" To Her And Is "Devastated" By The College Admissions Scandal

April 12, 2019

For the first time since the college admission scandal has come to life, we are hearing comments about how Olivia Jade is handling the news.

According to CNN, a friend of the social media influencer -- who has millions of followers and subscribers -- has been in communication with Jade and opened up to the news outlet about how she is doing. "Olivia is devastated and completely embarrassed. She feels like she's lost nearly all of her friends because of this. She's barely speaking to her parents."

Jade has remained silent on social media throughout this entire scandal and it seems she's also doing so in her personal life. "Her best friends are doing everything they can, but she doesn't even want to see anyone right now...Olivia has been staying off social media because she's gotten so much hate."

While many people involved in the Varsity Blues Scandal, including Felicity Huffman, have plead guilty, Loughlin and her husband have yet to do so. Recently, a source told E! that “she [Loughlin] has been in complete denial and thought maybe she could skate by...She refused to accept any jail time and thought the DA was bluffing. She was adamant she wouldn’t do any jail time.”

Huffman is due back in Boston court on May 24th, but there has been no word yet on Loughlin's next appearance.
