In an exclusive piece, a source close to Lori Loughlin and her family has spoken to PEOPLE. Allegedly, the source states that Loughlin and her husband are feeling "confident" that they will not face jail time. “The more that [the attorneys> look at the alleged evidence against them, the better they feel about the case."

It feels like there hasn't been a lot of updates with regards to this case in a while. There was a time when something new was happening everyday! Lots of news outlets have been mentioning that Loughlin just wants the case to be over and put behind them.

Previously, the couple rejected a plea deal, which seems like this case is going to go to trial. In the PEOPLE article, the source also talks about how the only plausible way to escape jail time in this case is to go trial and be found not guilty. Previously, it was reported that any plea deal offered would have required some jail time.

Since these ladies are actresses, it would come as no surprise if this were turned into a TV series. I know I'd be watching it!
