Tom Brady Sits Down With Oprah... and Kim Kardashian Considers Running For Office?

June 18, 2018

Tom Brady was the latest guest to sit down for a conversation with Oprah, as part of the “SuperSoul Sunday” program on OWN. In the interview, which aired yesterday, Brady discussed his journey to the NFL, the challenges of managing football and parenthood, his impending retirement saying it  will come sooner rather than later. "As long as I’m loving the training and the preparation, I’m willing to make the commitment. But I think what I alluded to a lot in the docu-series is that there are other things happening in my life, too. I do have kids that I love, and I don’t want to be a dad that’s not there driving my kids to their games. My kids have brought a great perspective to my life. Kids just want the attention. You better be there and be available to them. ”

Kanye West may have some competition if he runs for president...from his wife! During a recent interview on CNN which aired on Saturday, Kim Kardashian was asked if she would ever run for president and though she said “never say never” when it comes to taking on a political role, she also revealed that it’s “not what I’m going for.” She continued: “I just want to help, starting with one person at a time. I think sometimes if more people would just put their personal feelings aside and talk about really important issues that have to be discussed, then so much more can get done.”

Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande may have taken yet another step forward in their whirlwind romance. On Saturday night, just a week after we learned that the two had gotten engaged, the singer posted a photo on Instagram of SpongeBob SquarePants sitting on a box, writing, "Us in our new apartment with no furniture, 1 speaker and Red Vines." Grande also posted that night a filtered video of Davidson standing in front of an apartment complex. On Sunday, she posted pics of herself standing on a couch while wearing the massive pear-shaped diamond ring Davidson gave her so, they're having some fun with this.

Another one...AMC announced that it will not air Chris Hardwick's show Talking With Chris Hardwick amid his ex-girlfriend Chloe Dykstra's allegations of sexual assault and emotional abuse, which he has denied. The 49-year-old TV personality, also known for hosting AMC's Talking Dead and for founding the Nerdist podcast and company, has not responded to the statement.
