American Idol Star to get her own Talk Show


Robert Redford is done with acting. The the 81-year-old Oscar-winner confirmed on Monday that the film “The Old Man & the Gun” will be his final on-screen performance.

“Never say never, but I pretty well concluded that this would be it for me in terms of acting, and [I’ll] move towards retirement after this ’cause I’ve been doing it since I was 21. I thought, Well, that’s enough. And why not go out with something that’s very upbeat and positive?” he said during the interview. Redford, best known for roles in “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” “The Sting” and “All the President’s Men.” - “The Old Man & the Gun” will be released Sept. 28.

Pink is recovering after spending the night in an Australian hospital, because of the stomach virus. The hospital stay forced her to cancel her show last night… She has been plagued by illness for the past few days…

Last week paparazzi caught her on the beach with her family, then posted a headline alluded to her playing hooky. “Pink’s Sydney concert cancelled as she chills in Byron Bay,” an Australian newspaper wrote next to a picture of her lounging in the sand with her 7-year-old daughter, Willow. Of course not every picture tells the whole story. In an Instagram post, Pink fired back at the paper and explained what the photo didn’t show. “I don’t need to clear this up, but out of respect for my fans I will attempt it,” she wrote. She then explained she and her kids had already been sick twice on the Australian tour, but she was able to push through in those instances. “This time, what these paparazzi don’t show you, is two doctor visits in Byron on two consecutive days, antibiotics, steroids, Vick’s, nose spray, throat spray, more steroids, NyQuil, a screaming baby in the middle of the night, every night, while mama gives him warm baths and tells her daughter everything is fine.”

Kelly Clarkson has a new gig! She has signed a deal with NBC Entertainment, and is now filming a pilot for a syndicated daytime talk show. There is no network attached to the project yet, but it is expected to debut in fall of 2019.

Demi Lovato has been released from a Los Angeles hospital almost 2 weeks after her apparent overdose. She was discharged over the weekend and flew to a rehab facility where she will stay for an extended period of time. Sources say she will "head straight to rehab" where her family members and ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama have been by her side amid her recovery.

Jason Alexander's latest gig involves a white beard and a crisp performance — make than an extra crispy performance. The "Seinfeld" alum is the latest Colonel Harland Sanders, following in the footsteps of celebrities like Rob Lowe and Reba McEntire. The ads featuring Alexander started yesterday and will air nationwide to promote the $20 Fill Ups, value meals that are now available in four different varieties. A longtime fan of comfort food, he said he didn't have any problem identifying with the colonel's love of chicken. "Have you noticed my waistline over the years? When I'm out and about it is no lie, you will see me at a KFC!"He even admitted to eating peanut butter with fried chicken!
