Tom Hanks in Talks to Play "Geppetto" in Live Action Pinocchio

Disney's live-action Pinocchio movie may have found its Geppetto. While the casting news hasn't been officially announced, Tom Hanks is said to be in "early talks" to play the woodcarver and creator of Pinocchio in the upcoming live-action adaptation, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The movie is looking to start production in May, which could conflict with Hanks' upcoming sci-fi project Bios. Hanks has yet to comment on the casting reports.

Ariana Grande is giving fans an all-access pass to her Dangerous Woman Tour.  The pop star is releasing a four-part docu-series on YouTube called Dangerous Woman Tour diaries, which will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at her life on and off the stage.  It will include the making of her latest Sweetener album, moments from the One Love Manchester concert, concert performances and more. The first episode came out yesterday.  

Wedding festivities are underway for the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Jonas.  Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are tying the knot this weekend in India, where Chopra's family lives.  There will be two wedding ceremonies, one to honor Chopra's Indian heritage and one to honor Jonas' Christian upbringing. 

A cappella group Pentatonix will be getting in the holiday spirit with their upcoming special, Pentatonix: Not So Silent Night.  Kelly Clarkson, the Backstreet Boys and Maren Morris will be taking part in the event.  Clarkson and Morris are featured on their new album, Christmas Is Here.  Pentatonix: A Not So Silent Night airs on NBC on December 10th.

Pro wrestler John Cena is being honored by Sports Illustrated with the Muhammad Ali Legacy Awards for his philanthropy efforts.  He has had a strong relationship with the Make-A-Wish foundation for several years, granting over 600 wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses.  His award will be presented on December 11 in Los Angeles.
